Plenty of AFL fans seem to like watching their team compete against Collingwood and if they can post a win even better. That happened last night on Seven as the primary channel and the network posted a second successive night ranked #1 in the TV ratings.
The Friday AFL clash dominating the network ratings was Collingwood facing off against the West Coast Eagles in Perth. It was an even contest early, but then the Eagles switched on the supercharger and they soared past the Pies. Viewers in Perth loved it of course with the 7mate share hitting 29.0% with a Perth average audience of 134,000. The Melbourne audience was 276,000.
NRL viewers on Nine saw Storm defeat Roosters with 331,000 in metro markets.
The most-watched shows elsewhere in the TV ratings included Vera on ABC with 505,000. The three lifestyle shows looking for an early evening audience were Gardening Australia (448,000), Better Homes & Gardens (401,000) and The Living Room (309,000).
