Vevo appoints Teresa Ly as head of sales ANZ

She will lead the network’s sales strategy and client partnerships.

Vevo has appointed Teresa Ly head of sales Australia and New Zealand to lead the network’s sales strategy and client partnerships.

She joins from Acast where she delivered consistent double-digit revenue growth, launched the business into New Zealand and developed high-performing teams across ANZ.

Ly’s career spans digital audio, publishing and cross-platform media, including senior roles at Immediate Media in London, News Corp Australia and MCN.

Tim O’Connor, general manager of APAC sales, said he’s looking forward to welcoming Ly into the business and seeing the impact of her leadership in the months ahead.

“Teresa’s commercial acumen and people-first leadership style are a perfect match for Vevo’s vision in ANZ,” he said.

“She has a strong track record of driving growth and leading high-performing teams in fast-moving media environments.”

Ly’s appointment follows strong regional growth and a sharpened focus on helping brands connect through culture.

Vevo recently unveiled a suite of AI-powered ad solutions and remains Australia’s largest premium ad-supported video network, reaching 11.74 million viewers each month.

Ly said she’s thrilled to be joining the team.

Vevo is synonymous with music culture, and music videos create such an incredible emotional response for so many people,” she said.

“It’s a huge and undervalued opportunity for advertisers to create genuine connections with their audiences.

“There’s so much opportunity across ANZ to help brands show up in more meaningful and relevant ways in these moments, and I’m looking forward to building on the strong momentum already in place with this amazing team.”
