Nick Keenan has joined Tabcorp as General Manager – Max Gaming, the sports betting solution platform for venues, government and industry.
In a LinkedIn post on Monday, he said: “Absolutely thrilled to announce that I’m joining Tabcorp as General Manager – Max Gaming.
“I’m looking forward to working with the talented Max Gaming team, our valued partners and suppliers, and the broader Tabcorp leadership group to build on our market‑leading compliance, integrity and technical services — and to explore exciting new opportunities for growth.
“A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m energised and ready to hit the ground running this Wednesday!”
Keenan joins the sports betting company following his exit from Starcom after over four years with the Publicis Groupe agency.
At the time, Publicis Groupe ANZ CEO Michael Rebelo said: “After four and a half years, Nick Keenan has departed from his role as CEO of Starcom Australia.
“On behalf of the Groupe in ANZ, I would like to thank Nick for his contributions and wish him all the best for the future.”
Prior to his tenure at Starcom Australia, he spent two years as CEO of Red Rooster, he was previously commercial director of CrownBet, and following that became CEO of the gaming company’s online lotto betting service, CrownLotto.
In June, Publicis Groupe ANZ appointed Matt Houltham as CEO of Starcom Australia, bringing over 25 years of experience to the role in managing media and strategy agencies across ANZ, the US and the UK.
He was previously CEO of Havas Media ANZ and MD of Naked Communications in New York and Melbourne.
Houltham joins Chief Operating Officer, Louise Romeo and Chief Client & Growth Officer, Scott McCaffrey on the Starcom Australia executive leadership team, working closely to ensure the continued growth and success of the agency business.
