2GB has maintained its market-leading radio share, after adding 0.9 points, creating some much needed space between the station and KIIS 1065. Breakfast with Ben Fordham has regained the top spot in the breakfast daypart after increasing his share by 0.9 points to a market-leading 15.7%. 
Mornings with Ray Hadley is still #1 in its timeslot, gaining 2.6 points. 
2GB was up in every daypart except for the drive slot which lost 1.3 points following host Jim Wilson stepping down in September. 
In demographics, the station’s biggest rise was in 40-54, up 0.9 points, while the biggest drop off was in 55-64 where 2GB lost 2.9 points.

KIIS FM has increased its share to 11.6% which is the station’s best result in over six years. The breakfast show with Kyle Sandilands and Brittany Hockley has remained steady with a share of 14.8%, this is despite regular co-host Jackie O not being on air since November. Will and Woody has remained the #1 drive program in Sydney holding off smoothfm by 0.2 points. In demographics, KIIS was #1 in 10-17, 25-39, and 40-54.

smoothfm has finished the year with the #1 cumulative audience in Sydney and the #3 market share with 10.4%. The station was down in the breakfast, morning, and afternoon dayparts but up in drive, evenings, and weekends. The station was also up in the 18-24, 25-39, 40-54, and 55-64 demographics. 

WSFM 8.7% (7.7%)

WSFM was the biggest riser in the Sydney market after gaining 1.0 points. WSFM remains the #4 station in Sydney as it continues to hold off Nova. Jonesy and Amanda have increased their breakfast share to 8.8% as WSFM is up in every daypart for the second survey in a row. The station was also up in every demographic besides 10-17 and 65+.

Nova has remained steady at a share of 7.1% and continues to be the #5 station in Sydney. Breakfast with Fitzy and Wippa was the #5 commercial breakfast show with a share of 6%, down 1.0 points. Drive with Kate, Tim, and Joel slipped to #3 in the daypart, passed by stablemate smoothfm.

2Day FM has held on to most of its gains from survey 7 where it gained 0.9 points and moved past fellow SCA station Triple M to be the #6 station in Sydney after only losing 0.2 points in survey 8. The breakfast shift with Hughesy, Ed and Erin has increased by 0.2 points and now sits at 4.4%.

The station has remained steady at 4.5% market share for another survey and has held off Triple M to close the year as the #7 station in Sydney.

Triple M has bounced back a little from its lowest radio share in over six years in survey 7, by adding 0.4 points. This station still remains #8 in Sydney for the second survey in a row. The station was up in every daypart after two consecutive surveys of being down in every daypart.

The station is steady at 1.5% as it remains within range of the 1.8% that it posted in survey four.

SEN 1170 has lost 0.2 points, bringing the station to a 0.5% market share. Breakfast with Vossy and Brandy slipped 0.1 points, bringing the show to a total share of 0.3%.
