Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) is doubling down on one of Brisbane radio’s safest bets.
The broadcaster has appointed Kirsten Ploog as Executive Producer and Claire Bryant as Senior Producer of B105’s Stav, Abby & Matt, strengthening the content engine behind one of the market’s most consistent breakfast performers as it heads into its ninth year.
The dual appointments bolster both the day-to-day execution of the show and SCA’s broader breakfast strategy in Brisbane, where competition for attention, relevance and share has only intensified.

Kirsten Ploog
Senior hires for a show with momentum
Ploog arrives with deep credentials across commercial radio, television and entertainment, most recently as Entertainment Producer and Guest Booker on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, following a stint as Guest and Entertainment Producer on The Project.
Her CV also spans senior roles at ARN, Nova Entertainment, Network 10, and Virgin, as well as leadership in music, brand, and promotions within SCA’s Perth operations.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining a show with such a strong sense of humour and heart,” Ploog said.
“Stav, Abby & Matt already have a powerful connection with Brisbane, and it feels so special to be returning to SCA to help contribute to and build on that momentum.”

B105 Content Director Ed Kirkwood
A familiar face returns to SCA
Bryant, who has more than a decade of experience across radio and podcasting, joins from KIIS 97.3, where she was Breakfast Producer for Robin, Kip & Corey.
Prior to that, she served as Executive Producer of KIIS’ national night show Zach and Dom.
Her return to SCA follows eight years with the group, including time as Senior Producer for the Hit Network’s Queensland breakfast show, Bronte & Lakey, and a key role in launching the LiSTNR podcast Darling, Shine!, underscoring her familiarity with the network and its evolving audio strategy.
‘Industry-leading operators’
B105 Content Director Ed Kirkwood said the appointments reflected the calibre of talent the network continues to attract.
“The appointments of Kirsten and Claire are a testament to the calibre of people that B105 and SCA attract,” Kirkwood said.
“Kirsten is an industry-leading operator with an enviable resume, and Claire is an exceptionally talented radio producer. Both are outstanding additions to an already brilliant show and team, and I’m excited to see them hit the ground running and take B105 to new heights.”
Bryant has already commenced in the role, with Ploog set to start on Monday, January 12.
Hosted by Stav Davidson, Abby Coleman and Matt Acton, Stav, Abby & Matt returns for its ninth year on Monday, January 19, airing from 6am to 9am on B105 and LiSTNR.
