Southern Cross Media Group has appointed Rohan Lund and Cathy O’Connor as Independent Non-Executive Directors, strengthening its Board as the newly merged media group deepens its integration and performance delivery.
The ASX-listed company confirmed Lund will join from 1 March 2026, with O’Connor to follow on 27 March 2026.
The appointments come as SCA continues to consolidate its combined portfolio across television, audio, publishing and digital following the merger with Seven West Media.
Chairman flags performance focus
Executive Chairman Heith Mackay-Cruise said the additions were aimed at sharpening the Board’s capabilities.
“The Board has been focused on adding the attributes and perspectives that will be needed to optimise our performance and navigate a rapidly changing marketplace. We are confident that Rohan and Cathy will make that contribution and that their insights, deep market knowledge and business acumen will be highly beneficial to the Board and our shareholders.”
Lund will join the Audit & Risk Committee, while O’Connor will sit on the People, Remuneration & Nominations Committee.
The new Board will comprise Mackay-Cruise, Teresa Dyson, Marina Go AM, Ryan Stokes AO, Ido Leffler, Lund and O’Connor.

Lund most recently served as Group CEO of the NRMA from 2016 to 2025, overseeing a workforce of more than 5,000 and leading diversification across roadside assistance, insurance distribution, tourism and funds management.
He previously held senior executive roles at Foxtel, Seven West Media and Yahoo!7

O’Connor was CEO & Managing Director of ASX-listed oOh!media from 2021 to 2025, where she led digital transformation and reshaped the company’s revenue model.
She previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Nova Entertainment for 12 years.

SCA owns assets including the Seven Network, 7plus, LiSTNR, Hit and Triple M, alongside major publishing brands.
