Nova 100 breakfast presenter Ben Harvey has revealed he and his wife Samantha are expecting their first child together in an Instagram video posted on Monday.
Among the first to hear the exciting news was his co-hosts, Liam Stapleton and Belle Jackson, and Stapleton’s fiancee Sarah Crisanti.
The covertly captured short video shows Harvey unveiling sonograms images of their unborn child. Elated by the news, Stapleton said: “no way… no f***ing way, dude” before giving Harvey a congratulatory high five and hug,

On Monday’s edition of the Ben, Liam & Belle show, Harvey revealed listeners that he and Samantha discovered they were expecting their first child together while on their honeymoon in November.
Looking back at the moment they shared the news with their friends, Harvey said: “You were crying (Belle), Sarah your partner was crying Liam. You were like Stifler, no effing way dude.”
Stapleton said: “I am still buzzing, I have been so excited for you… I must admit I didn‘t realise it was being recorded. I had a mouthful of chips. I wish I was like crying or something. I was celebrating like I was in an American college or something like that.”
Harvey’s family news comes after he and his co-hosts Stapleton and Jackson recently relocated from Adelaide to take on the Nova 100 breakfast show earlier this year.
Ben & Liam built a loyal national following during their three years as hosts of Triple J’s breakfast show and over the past few years have made big impact on Nova 919’s breakfast show in Adelaide.
At the end of October 2022, the team concluded their time in SA as the most listened to FM breakfast show for the majority of 2022 and were the #1 FM breakfast show in Adelaide four times in 2022 alone. Over the past few years, senior producer Jackson took on a more prominent role on-air and in December 2022 joined the boys as co-host of Nova 100’s newest breakfast show Ben, Liam & Belle show.
