Global affairs commentator and former BBC foreign correspondent Nick Bryant will deliver the opening address at RESET 2026, Australia’s annual conference for marketing leaders, in a session presented in partnership with ThinkNewsBrands.
Bryant will examine the geopolitical, economic, and societal forces currently reshaping business, culture, and public trust – and what those forces mean for Australian brands and marketers.
A career spent on the frontlines
Bryant spent almost three decades as one of the BBC’s most decorated foreign correspondents, reporting from Washington, New York, South Asia, and Australia. His work has spanned political upheaval and social change, earning him a reputation as a leading voice on global politics, democracy, and the media.
His keynote is expected to draw on that experience to frame the broader themes of the day, offering marketing leaders a macro lens on the uncertainty shaping their operating environment.
A room of industry leaders
RESET has previously featured speakers including former Prime Minister Julia Gillard, athlete and advocate Dylan Alcott, and former footballer Adam Goodes, as well as marketing figures behind campaigns for Barbie, Budweiser, and Lego.
The 2026 event is positioned as a gathering of senior marketers, with attendance expected to draw chief marketing officers, chief executive officers, managing directors, brand strategists, and agency leads from across the country.
