Coach won't look at glamorous reporter: awkward interview goes viral

A clip of a football coach doing an interview has gone viral over his refusal to look at his glamorous interviewer.

David Oulehla, coach of the Czech team FK Viagem Ústí nad Labem, spoke to reporter, Sabina Jaksova following his team’s loss to SFC Opava.

A clip of him looking defeated was posted to Instagram - But the video has gone viral for his manner, rather than his words.

He spent the entire interview avoiding looking at Jaksova… and viewers are sure they know why.

Oushehla looked everywhere but at the reporter the entire time. He also appeared tense and awkward.

The comments section joked about the exchange, with many claiming Oushehla “knew his wife was watching.”

“Fighting for his life,” one viewer joked.

“His level of self-control is biblical,” another added.

And in a sign of the times, viewers also applauded the behaviour displayed by the coach.

"He handled it with grace," read one comment, while another acknowledged how he was "trying so hard to concentrate."

"That is a real man. Well done! 🙌".
