KIIS FM has announced that the Melbourne born and bred trio Nazeem, Christian and Clint will be joining the city’s newest breakfast show, Jase & Lauren in the Morning on KIIS 101.1 when the show kicks off on Monday August 9.
They’re experts in their field and if there’s something happening in Melbourne in comedy, sport or the news – these three will know about it before anyone else and will be letting KIIS 101.1 Breakfast listeners know too.
Comedian, actor, television and radio presenter, Nazeem Hussain is the King of Melbourne comedy at a time when the world could use a lot more laughs.
“I’m really looking forward to having a laugh with Jase and Lauren! I’m a comedian so – naturally a morning person. I can’t wait to over share with my favourite city on earth! Except when I’m touring interstate”, said Nazeem.
AFL footballer, Christian Petracca, the Demons hottest player and top tip to win the AFL Brownlow medal this year, will be keeping listeners on track with all the latest AFL stories around town. In Melbourne there’s always plenty, and Petracca will know and share it first.
“I’m super stoked to be the man on the ground and joining Jase & Lauren in the Morning to talk all things footy. I’m also looking forward to the banter with Lauren. She knows her AFL.” said Christian.
Rounding out the team is Clint Stanaway, weekend sports presenter on 9News Melbourne. Renowned for somehow breaking stories before they break, there’s not a sports story in the city that Clint is not across. Clint joins KIIS 101.1 as the full-time news and sports presenter on Jase & Lauren in the Morning.
“I couldn’t be happier landing a job where I get to deliver news and in particular sports news, to the city that I grew up in and love. After a decade behind the news desk at Nine, I’m pumped to hit the mics with a team I know everybody is going to love. I’m a big talker and love to laugh, so I think I’ve found the perfect breakfast home.” adds Clint.
