Mike E extends run with ARN after KIIS breakfast slot

ARN has announced broadcaster and podcaster Mike E will continue with the network in a new on-air content role following his successful run on KIIS Breakfast throughout 2026.

In an official statement, ARN said “Mike will kick off the next chapter by hosting KIIS Summer Drive, before taking on a broader on-air content role across KIIS and GOLD, where he’ll be heard throughout 2027.”

As part of the new agreement, Mike’s independently created podcast, Behind the Mic with Mike E, will officially join ARN’s iHeart. 

Launched in 2026, Behind the Mic has featured some of Australia’s best known broadcasters, podcasters and media personalities, with Season 1 generating more than three million video views.

Under the new partnership, iHeart will support the next phase of the show across audio, video and social, including distribution, promotion and commercial representation.

Mike E said through ARN: 

“I’ve had an absolute ball filling in on KIIS Breakfast this year. It’s been one of the wildest and most exciting periods of my career, so I’m really happy to be staying with ARN and moving into a new role across the network. 

"I’ll be kicking things off on KIIS Summer Drive, which I’m really looking forward to.

“I’m also incredibly proud that Behind the Mic is joining iHeart. We built Season 1 independently and the response has been amazing, particularly across video and social. 

"To now have the support of iHeart behind the show and help grow it further feels like a really exciting next step.”
