ARN’s iHeart Australia has unveiled a completely rebuilt web experience, delivering a faster, more intuitive way for Australians to discover, watch and listen to their favourite radio, music and podcasts.

The new iHeart Australia website has been redesigned from the ground up, introducing a streamlined experience that gets users into the content faster, while making it easier to discover new stations, podcasts and personalities.

Following the recent expansion of video across the iHeart platform, the new site brings some of the platform’s most-loved app features directly to desktop users, creating a more connected listening and viewing experience across devices. Among the new capabilities are seamless switching between audio and video, support for full-screen viewing, and background listening.

A key focus of the redesign has been bringing familiar radio features inspired by the car dashboard to the iHeart web experience. Features include synced presets, a live radio dial, station scan, trending content, rankers, real-time lyrics and recently played content, making it easier than ever for listeners to discover, personalise and pick up where they left off.

The website also includes functionality allowing users to send voice messages to their favourite radio stations and podcasts.

ARN Chief Digital & Technology Officer, Ben Campbell, said: “Australian audiences increasingly expect to discover, consume and engage with content wherever and however they choose. The new iHeart experience delivers exactly that, creating a faster, more intuitive way to access the live radio, podcasts and personalities people love.

“As ARN continues to evolve into a broader entertainment business, we’re focused on bringing world-class innovations to Australian audiences and creating richer experiences across audio, video and digital platforms.”
