Overall
GOLD 104.3 continued its upward run, strengthening from 12.5 in Survey 7 to 13.3 to emerge as one of the market’s strongest performers.
Nova 100 also nudged higher, lifting from 7.4 to 7.9, while KIIS 101.1 found a modest win, edging up from 5.2 to 5.4.
At the top of the market, 3AW remained number one but eased back overall, slipping from 14.7 to 13.9.
Most of the rest of the FM pack headed south: Smooth 91.5 fell from 8.8 to 8.5, Fox FM dropped from 8.1 to 7.4, and Triple M dipped slightly from 6.9 to 6.8, confirming a softer all-day performance for several commercial players.
Breakfast
The AM rush followed a similar pattern, with the leaders holding firm and several stations correcting after the last survey’s highs.
3AW stayed miles ahead despite a small dip, easing from 20.1 to 19.8 and retaining a commanding lead.
GOLD 104.3 was broadly steady, edging back from 11.2 to 11.0 but remaining well ahead of its recent historical average. Nova 100 delivered one of the brighter breakfast results, climbing from 8.3 to 8.8, while Smooth 91.5 also bounced back, lifting from 6.8 to 7.4 after a tough Survey 7.
Fox FM experienced the sharpest fall of the book, sliding from 8.7 to 7.2, while Triple M flatlined at 6.4. KIIS 101.1 slipped again, down from 5.5 to 5.0, underlining the ongoing challenge of converting network resets into breakfast growth.
