Half Dome has announced the appointment of Simon Gellibrand as head of digital, reinforcing its commitment to delivering exceptional technical and performance capabilities.

In the newly created role, Gellibrand will be responsible for leading the digital product at the independent media agency, driving best practice implementation as well as thought leadership and digital marketing maturity for Half Dome’s client base.

Seven West Media has announced the promotion of Erick Lopez as a senior journalist.

ABC Online announced Emily Sakzewski has begun duties as deputy news editor and digital editor following her stint as a digital journalist for the broadcaster in Brisbane.

Jack Foster joins 10 News First Sydney as a news producer. His most recent role was as a freelance producer for Seven’s The Latest.
 
Initiative has welcomed the appointment of Paige Wheaton as chief investment and partnerships officer.
 
Wheaton, who will be based in Sydney, will also join Initiative’s national senior leadership team. She will be responsible for further evolving the media agency’s investment and partnerships approach, working closely with clients nationally to deliver and create market-leading value, innovation and opportunity geared for sustainable growth.

Seven West Media has named Nuwan Ranasinghe as the second recipient of the David Leckie Seven Scholarship Program.

Ranasinghe’s awarding of the scholarship follows the success of inaugural recipient Madeline McKeown, who has secured a full-time producer position at Weekend Sunrise.

The annual program, established in September 2021, honours the legacy of the late David Leckie, former Seven West Media chief executive officer.
