LiSTNR has launched CommSec Invest, developed in partnership with CommSec, designed to help young investors navigate the share market.
The new series aims to demystify the share market and provide relatable, user-friendly advice for young Aussies looking to invest.
Hosted by author and journalist Jamila Rizvi, the eight-episode series has been made to complement CommSec’s refreshed Market Update podcast, which launched with a new format in 2023 on LiSTNR.
LiSTNR states that the new series offers a relaxed approach to financial education, aiming to talk about finance without the boring bits.
Each 20 to 30-minute episode will offer a breakdown of the key steps along the investment journey, ensuring listeners have an understanding of everything from what the share market is and developing an investment portfolio, including the psychology of investing, how much to invest, what shares to buy, and planning for the long term.
Insights will be provided on the show by economic and investment experts, including market analysts Tom Piotrowski and Steven Daghlian.

CommSec Invest launched on January 2 2024 and is released twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
