IHAC launches In-House Insights podcast for ANZ agency leaders

The debut season features guests from major organisations including Delta Air Lines, Telstra and Bupa.

In-House Agency Council (IHAC) has launched In-House Insights, a new podcast aimed at in-house and hybrid agency leaders across Australia and New Zealand.

The podcast comes as in-housing continues to grow across the region, with 78% of brands now operating in-house teams, yet few dedicated platforms exist for leaders to share their experiences and insights.

Giving in-house leaders a voice

Hosted by Abby Blackmore and Chris Maxwell, the weekly series will explore industry developments and feature conversations with leaders working inside in-house and hybrid agency models.

Blackmore said the podcast aims to cut through industry noise.

“There’s a lot of noise around in-housing, but not enough of it comes from the people inside these teams,” she said.

“We wanted to create something that’s genuinely useful – practical conversations, real examples and honest perspectives from people who are actually doing the job.”

Reflecting rapid growth

Maxwell said the podcast reflects the growing importance of in-house teams in modern marketing structures.

“In-housing has become a core part of how organisations operate now. The pace of growth across Australia and New Zealand is huge, and it’s changing how teams are structured and how work gets done,” he said.

Industry voices featured

The debut season features guests from major organisations including Delta Air Lines, Telstra and Bupa.

Featured speakers include Maya Dukes, Managing Director of Global Brand Strategy & Creative at Delta Air Lines, Gemma Poesaste, Head of Roam Agency at Telstra, and Via Tendon, APAC Senior Manager at Bupa’s in-house agency.

The series will also feature Kevin Frank, author of Raising Creative Teams, and Warren Marenco Chase, Managing Director of Copper Giants.

Available now

In-House Insights is available from 31 March across Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other major platforms.

The launch positions IHAC to play a larger role in shaping conversations around the evolving in-house agency model across ANZ.
