Hotwire Global names Grant Toups as new CEO

Ian Ball: ‘He brings the perfect blend of strategic vision, deep sector expertise, and operational leadership’.

Hotwire Global has appointed Grant Toups as its new Global Chief Executive Officer, marking the start of a new chapter for the communications and marketing consultancy as it celebrates 25 years in business.

Toups will officially step into the role in January 2026, bringing over two decades of experience across public relations, digital innovation, and marketing transformation.

A leader for a new era

Hotwire Global, which includes ROI·DNA, has built its reputation helping the world’s most prominent technology companies grow revenues and manage reputations.

Toups’ appointment comes as the consultancy strengthens its expertise in AI, predictive data intelligence, and generative engine optimisation, tools that are becoming central to modern communications and marketing.

“AI is here to stay, and it’s forcing every client to transform, to innovate, and to communicate a compelling tech-powered value prop,” said Toups.

“This transition demands that every company learn how to navigate this complex and dynamic tech reality. Hotwire and ROI·DNA’s heritage connecting innovation with storytelling for some of the world’s most notable technology brands positions it perfectly to be the partner of choice for this new era.”

He added, “I couldn’t be more proud or excited to join this exceptional team of professionals as we strive to unlock exponentially more value for clients through creativity, innovation, and intelligence.”

Hotwire Global is part of The Enero Group, whose CEO Ian Ball said Toups’ appointment reflects the company’s focus on global expansion and innovation.

“Grant is a proven international leader at the forefront of comms-tech, AI, and marketing transformation,” Ball said.

“He brings the perfect blend of strategic vision, deep sector expertise, and operational leadership to accelerate Hotwire and ROI·DNA’s growth. His appointment marks an exciting next chapter for the business; strengthening our momentum, expanding capabilities, and driving the next wave of innovation for clients navigating an increasingly complex, tech-driven world.”

While the Enero group might have taken a hit in net profit and revenue earlier this year, Toups joins Hotwire following a strong run of accomplishments; ROI·DNA recently secured its largest-ever client win with Qualtrics, while Charlotte Harvey was appointed Managing Director of Hotwire UK earlier this year.
