The countdown to Australian television’s night of nights is officially on, with TV Week unveiling the nominees for the 65th annual Logie Awards, headlined by seven contenders for the coveted Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television.
Up for the top honour this year are Ally Langdon, Hamish Blake, Julia Morris, Lisa Millar, Lynne McGranger, Poh Ling Yeow and Sonia Kruger.
The winner will be decided by public vote and announced live on Seven and 7plus from The Star Sydney on Sunday, 3 August.
TV Week Editorial Director Amber Giles said: “It’s always thrilling to see the breadth of original Australian content, on both free-to-air and streamers, reflected in the nominations. If you’ve loved a show or a star, don’t be shy. Get voting.”

New category honours Ray Martin’s legacy
In a move sure to resonate across the news and current affairs landscape, the Logies has introduced a new category named in honour of one of Australia’s most decorated journalists.
The Ray Martin Award for Most Popular News or Public Affairs Reporter now joins the Bert Newton and Graham Kennedy-named accolades celebrating presenters and rising talent.
Martin, a five-time Gold Logie winner whose career spans 60 Minutes, A Current Affair and Four Corners, will personally present the award at the 2025 ceremony.
The nod to Martin underscores the role of journalism in shaping Australian television and signals a growing appetite for recognising factual content in primetime.
Voting for all categories is open at tvweeklogies.com.au, with key awards remaining open through to the broadcast.
In a first, Gold Logie voting will close live during the telecast, offering fans a final chance to influence the outcome.
