Farmer Wants a Wife recap: Farmer Corey chooses Keeley in emotional season finale

‘I want someone who loves me for who I am’.

In the finale of Channel Seven’s Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW), the 24-year-old Farmer Corey chose 21-year-old Keeley, an optometrist, as his future partner, ending the season with a genuine declaration of love and an eye toward building a life together off-camera.

This resolution marks the culmination of a season that again proved FWAW power as a format that delivers both compelling storytelling and strong advertiser integration across primetime.

Hometown visits test future plans

With just two women left standing, Keeley and 25-year-old nurse Chloe, the finale followed Corey as he visited their families to better understand what life could look like beyond the farm gates.

Meeting Chloe’s blended family left Corey feeling welcomed and grounded, while Keeley’s parents expressed reservations about their daughter relocating and leaving her career behind. The contrast painted a clear picture: for all the spark he had with Keeley, Corey couldn’t ignore the practical realities of long-distance love.

“I’ve got a really strong connection with Keeley,” Corey admitted, “but the time frame for Keeley to move to the farm is a concern, so I’ve got a lot to consider moving forward.”

Love wins, with future plans in motion

Despite lingering doubts, Corey ultimately decided that waiting a few extra months for Keeley to finish work commitments was worth the reward of a future together.

“I feel like from the first twenty-four-hour date, we really clicked and got along well,” Corey told her, recalling how she’d caught his attention during the initial speed dates in the Hunter Valley. “I could be my true self around you. I want someone who loves me for who I am, wants to live in Biloela, and be my rock.”

Keeley, teary-eyed and smiling, accepted his offer to join him on the next chapter of his life.

“Absolutely, I’m so excited. You’re so cute!” she said.

Farmer Wants a Wife Reunion airs 9.00pm Monday, 23 June on Seven and 7plus.
