Domino’s ANZ hires Dewald Du Plooy as CMO

He brings decades of global retail experience, including roles at Yum! Restaurants International and Procter & Gamble.

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises has appointed Dewald Du Plooy as Chief Marketing Officer for Australia and New Zealand, as the business sharpens its focus on customer experience and franchisee returns.

Du Plooy will commence the role on 27 April 2026, joining from OTR Group. He brings decades of global retail experience, including roles at Yum! Restaurants International and Procter & Gamble.

ANZ CEO Merrill Pereyra said the appointment supports Domino’s broader strategy to reset and strengthen the business.

“We are committed to delivering consistency, convenience and creating a stronger connection with our customers, while improving returns for our franchise partners,” she said.

“Dewald’s appointment is a key step in consolidating a disciplined, customer-focused marketing approach to sustainable growth.”

Du Plooy said he is looking forward to building on the brand’s strong position in the region.
