delicious. Content Director Krysia Bonkowski said the 2026 list reflects a renewed sense of play in Australian dining.
“This year’s delicious.100 list suggests that a sense of fun is coming back into food, with chefs and cooks bringing more playful energy to their menus – from explorations of their heritage to revelling in a bit of retro nostalgia. At the same time, they’re serious about Australian produce, and inspired by what the seasons bring,” Bonkowski said.
“Australia has a deeply creative and open-minded dining culture that refuses to sit still, and deserves to be explored and enjoyed in full. We hope our list inspires Aussie diners to take on that challenge this year.”
The list also highlights venues that consider the full dining experience, with a strong emphasis on seasonal ingredients and locally sourced produce.
