UnLtd’s industry DJ competition, Club UnLtd, will return to Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on 18 June, bringing together emerging DJ talent from across advertising, media and marketing.
The event, presented by Yahoo, will raise support for UnLtd’s mission to end systemic disadvantage and help young people access more opportunities.
Applications for the 2026 competition are now open and close on 1 June. Amateur DJs, bedroom beatmakers and hidden industry talent can submit a live DJ mix via the registration page.
A judging panel of music industry insiders will shortlist six finalists, who will compete live on the night. The winner will take home industry bragging rights, following OMD’s Quianna Baterna, who won the inaugural event in 2025.
Philippa Moig, CEO of UnLtd, said last year’s event showed both the industry’s musical talent and its appetite for purpose-led events.
“Last year’s event proved two things: this industry has serious DJ talent, and people really know how to party for a purpose. Club UnLtd is all about big energy, great music and coming together to support young people at risk. Whether you’re behind the decks or on the dance floor, it’s going to be an unforgettable night.”
Yahoo returns as presenting partner
The 2026 event will also feature surprise moments, sponsor activations and additional entertainment throughout the night.
Elika Tamaddoni, head of trade marketing AUSEA at Yahoo, said the company was pleased to return as the presenting partner.
“Club UnLtd is the kind of event we love getting behind – it brings together creativity, community and incredible emerging talent from across the industry. Last year’s energy was unreal, and we’re excited to help spotlight the next wave of DJs while supporting such an important cause.”
Tickets are now available via Humanitix, with upgraded package options available through UnLtd.
