Globally, the film has made US$144M so far and of that, US$88.4M was from 78 overseas markets, according to Deadline. Meanwhile, Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer is at 83%.
Synopsis: In the 1990s, Sonny Hayes was Formula 1’s most promising driver until an accident on the track nearly ended his career. Thirty years later, the owner of a struggling Formula 1 team convinces Sonny to return to racing and become the best in the world. Driving alongside the team’s hotshot rookie, Sonny soon learns that the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone.

2. How to Train Your Dragon
The live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon continues to breathe fire at the Australian box office, holding strong in its third week with $2,755,312 from 410 screens. The film has now grossed $17,356,941 locally. According to Deadline, the global total has climbed to US$456.1M, with US$255.8M from international markets. It has a Rotten Tomatoes critic score of 77%.
Synopsis: Hiccup, a Viking teenager, comes from a village where people hunt dragons. He meets an injured dragon named Toothless and chooses not to harm it. Over time, Hiccup and Toothless form a connection and he works to change his village’s view of dragons and seeks to end the conflict between the two groups.

Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later slips to third place in its second week, taking in $1,299,115 across 298 screens, a 49% drop from its opening weekend. The sequel has now earned $4,622,226 in Australia. Internationally, the film is tracking solidly, reaching US$103M globally, making it the highest grossing film in the franchise.
Synopsis: Set nearly three decades after the original outbreak, the film follows a new generation grappling with the resurgence of the Rage virus. As survivors attempt to rebuild, a new threat emerges — not just from the infected, but from the institutions meant to protect them.

4. Lilo & Stitch
Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch is still going strong in its sixth week, earning $772,845 across 276 screens. The film has now brought in an impressive $28,488,673 at the Australian box office. The remake continues to draw in family audiences with its blend of heart, humour, and Hawaiian sci-fi chaos. and is currently at US$946M globally, expected to hit US$1B. It has a Rotten Tomatoes aggregate review score of 71%.
Synopsis: Lilo, a lonely young girl living on Kauaʻi, Hawaii, adopts a creature she believes is a dog. The creature, called Stitch, is a genetic experiment who escapes from another planet and arrives on Earth. Lilo, through care and commitment to the idea of family (Ohana), helps Stitch change his behaviour and he begins to learn what it means to care for others

Sony’s romantic satire Materialists added $690,992 in its third weekend from 300 screens, bringing its Australian total to $5,561,861. The film dropped 51% from last week’s earnings, with its screen count also falling from 361 to 300.
Synopsis: Lucy, a matchmaker in New York, helps others find partners but has not found one for herself. She finds herself drawn to Harry, a wealthy and seemingly perfect match, while also harbouring feelings for her ex, John, a struggling actor.
