ARN has named Melinda Jane Deluca (MJ) as Director of Sales – Digital, effective 9 June 2026, as the audio and entertainment company pushes further into digital revenue growth.
Deluca brings 13 years of experience across Australia’s media, digital, technology, and advertising sectors, having held senior roles at Taboola, Nine, and Yahoo.
Most recently, she served as Director of Agency Development at Taboola, where she led strategic partnerships with major holding groups across Australia and New Zealand.
Broad commercial background
Her background spans agency, platform, and sales leadership, covering video, programmatic, and data – areas ARN Chief Sales Officer Richard Hunwick said would prove critical to the business going forward.
“MJ’s appointment adds significant strength to our business as we accelerate our digital ambitions,” said Hunwick.
“She is a highly regarded commercial leader with deep domain expertise and strong commercial acumen, and we are delighted to welcome her to ARN at a pivotal time for digital audio in Australia.”
“She has a proven track record of driving growth and bringing new technology solutions to market, which will be invaluable as ARN enters its next phase of digital growth,” he said.
Deluca on the opportunity
Deluca said digital audio presents a significant commercial opportunity for advertisers.
“My career has been built in digital, delivering connected solutions for brands and agencies, and I’m excited by ARN’s vision for the future. Digital audio represents a major growth opportunity for advertisers, and it’s an exciting time to join a business so committed to the category,” she said.
She pointed to the combination of iHeart, KIIS, and GOLD, alongside ARN’s podcast, data, and social capabilities, as a compelling proposition for clients.
“Bringing together iHeart, the global leader in free streaming, with the powerhouse brands of KIIS and GOLD, plus a market-leading podcast and data offering, creates a compelling proposition for clients. Add social amplification and the shift to video, and ARN’s offer becomes even more powerful,” said Deluca.
The appointment is part of ARN’s broader effort to build out senior commercial talent as it expands across broadcast, streaming, podcasting, digital, and live experiences.
Deluca is based in Sydney.
