Kate Bush continues her streak at #1 on the ARIA singles charts, making it six consecutive chart topping weeks since the launch of Stranger Things, and eight weeks at #1 overall.

Renaissance by Beyoncé has made its mark on the singles chart this week, with Break My Soul continuing to climb, this week landing at #6. Cuff It and Summer Renaissance also make debuts at #24 and #33 respectively with I’m That Girl at #38, Energy Feat. Beam at #42, Cozy at #46 and Church Girl closing out the chart at #50.

The highest ranking Australian single this week belongs to Joji who has come in at #7 with Glimpse of Us.

Snap by Rosa Linn debuts at #23 this week, making its way into the charts after being introduced to the world as this year’s Armenian Eurovision entry.

Also entering the charts is The Neighbourhood’s iconic 2013 track Sweater Weather, which debuts at #37. As with most older tracks finding a home on the charts, the success comes from a resurgence on TikTok.

Albums

Beyoncé debuts at #1 on the albums chart with Renaissance, her first solo album since 2016’s Lemonade. Also titled Act 1: Renaissance, the album is the first instalment in a three-part trilogy and features production by Nova Wav, The-Dream, Symbolyc One, A. G. Cook, Honey Dijon, Beam, Tricky Stewart, BloodPop, Skrillex, Hit-Boy, No I.D. and P2J as well guest vocals from Beam, Grace Jones, and Tems. This is the seventh top 10 album for Beyoncé and her third #1.

Brisbane punk rock icons Dune Rats are back with Real Rare Whale, debuting at #6 on the albums chart, and coming in as the top Australian album for the week. Real Rare Whale is the trio’s fourth studio album, following Hurry Up and Wait and The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit, which both debuted at #1 on the albums chart.

Fellow Brisbane rockers Beddy Rays also crack the top 10 with their self-titled debut album coming in at #8.

The soundtrack from Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis reached a chart peak today at #4. The album features single Vegas by Doja Cat which peaked at #4 on the singles chart before dropping this week to #12, as well as tracks by Eminem, CeeLo Green, Swae Lee & Diplo, Kacey Musgraves, Tame Impala, and PNAU.
