TV WEEK Logie Awards nominations will be announced at a breakfast event on Sunday May 15th at 8am at the Burleigh Pavilion on the Gold Coast.
After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the 62nd TV WEEK Logie Awards will be held on Sunday, June 19, at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre within The Star Gold Coast Entertainment Resort precinct, metres from the glorious beaches of Broadbeach.
The breakfast event will serve as the formal announcement of the nominees for the 2022 TV WEEK Logie Awards for the most popular and outstanding shows, personalities, and actors on Australian television.
The star-studded award show is set to showcase all the action, glamour and excitement synonymous with Australian television’s night of nights to be telecast on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the return of the Logies was a major milestone in the recovery of Australia’s burgeoning screen sector.
“Queensland is the home of the screen industry in Australia,” Palaszczuk said.
“It’s great to have the Logies back on the Gold Coast in 2022 – our third time hosting television’s night of nights. I can’t imagine the Logies being anywhere else,” she added
