Seven’s Friday Night Football Finals, which saw Geelong beat Collingwood by six points at the MCG was the most-watched program on total TV, reaching 1,018,000 people and rising by 2%.

Marriage on ABC came in second and enjoyed the highest increase on total TV with 56% to reach an audience of 555,000.

Additionally,  a repeat of Death in Paradise on ABC, increased by 9% to reach 533,000 people.

Seven has experienced another strong night, winning the Saturday shares with a network share of 43% and a primary channel share of 30.4%. 7Mate took out the multichannel win with 7.2%, while Nine had a network share of 27.4%.

On Seven, the AFL finals continue to do well for the network, helping Seven secure a Saturday night win. The Saturday Night Football Finals, which saw Collingwood beat Fremantle by 20 points at the MCG to win 11.13 (79) to 9.5 (59), was the most-watched program of the night bringing in an audience of 693,000. The pre-match coverage reached 227,000 people, followed by the post-match coverage with 174,000 views. 

Additionally, 7News aired special coverage of King Charles III Proclaimed which reached 279,000 people.

Nine’s Rugby League Final series claimed the next top four spots with the QF2 pre-match coverage reaching 424,000 people. The elimination finals, which saw the Raiders defeat Storm to win 28-20 clocked 412,000 views, followed by the qualifying finals between the Sharks and Cowboys which saw the Cowboys claim victory with 32-0 and reach 410,000 people. 

On ABC, evening coverage of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) reached 206,000 people followed by Bluey on ABC Kids with 141,000 views,

On 10, 10 News First reached 166,000 people, while The Most Scenic Railway Journeys on SBS clocked 79,000 views.

Fox Footy has enjoyed a Saturday win, taking out the top spot on subscription TV. The Qualifying Finals between Collingwood and Fremantle came first with 365,000 views.

Over on Fox League, the Cowboys v Sharks game brought in 319,000 viewers, followed by the Storm v Raiders match with 315,000 views.
