Nine has enjoyed another comfortable Sunday night win after registering a primary share of 30.9% and a network share of 38.0% which were both easily #1 for their categories. Once again the bedrock for this result was Married at First Sight (MAFS) which was the top program of the night with a season-high 1.076m viewers. This episode was also #1 in all key demos and was up on last week’s audience of 981,000.

The episode featured the weekly commitment ceremony which saw Carolina and Dion, as well as Kate and Matt, leave the experiment. Tensions were at boiling point, however, when Carolina walked in with Daniel to reveal their affair and ask to remain in the experiment together, which prompted a mass walkout from the other couples. Ultimately the experts denied their request.
