On Nine the NRL had 312,000 viewers for its Sunday afternoon affair between the Wests Tigers and the South Sydney Rabbitohs which saw the bunnies leave with a comfortable win.

Ninja Warrior‘s third semi-final had 724,000 tune in as ninja veteran’s Alex Bigg and Mike Snow faced off on the Power Tower. Show favourites Sam Goodall and Toddles also made it through to the two-part Ninja Warrior Grand Final.

60 Minutes had 498,000 viewers as Tom Steinfort talked to scientists, medicos and business leaders, who are focused on finding solutions to the Covid-19 pandemic. Also on the show Liam Bartlett tracked down Chris Marco after almost $250 million of his client’s investments had gone missing.

The AFL afternoon coverage had 424,000 viewers tuning in with 231,000 of that coming from Melbourne.

Farmer Wants a Wife had its season premiere last night with 820,000 tuning in. It was the top on-news program of the night.

In the episode, the five new farmers met eight ladies in a round of speed-dating.

After some awkward laughter and stolen glances, the farmers invited five ladies back to their farm. with Jess, Hayley, Tammy, Mackenzie, and Meg given a head start with a 24-hour date with their farmer.

The Sunday Project had 334,000 (6:30pm) and 466,000 (7:00pm) as the show covered the Covid outbreak, the rising cost of travel due to travel caps, and talked to Scarlett Johansson.

MasterChef then had 633,000 viewers as Tommy didn’t make the cut and plated up his final dish in the MasterChef kitchen.

Tommy made a fancy version of Bún Bò Huế. Mel said it was modern Vietnamese cuisine that would do anyone proud, but the way Tommy chose to serve his hero ingredient of steak very rare let him down, and he was sent home.

The episode was #1 in the key demo of 16-39.

Grand Designs had 505,000 viewers and was followed by Jack Irish with 425,000 as the Aussie crime drama wrapped up its final season.

Tour De France had 200,000 viewers as Aussie Ben O’Connor won stage Nine. Earlier in the night Treasures of Malta had 248,000 viewers.
