Bathurst 1000
The Supercars season will come to an end this weekend at Mount Panorama with the sport’s hallmark event, the 161-lap Bathurst 1000 on Fox Sports, Kayo, Channel 7 and 7plus.

Discussing Seven’s coverage Seven’s head of sport Lewis Martin said: “Our coverage will be on air across Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The coverage will be led by Mark Beretta and Abbey Gelmi. We have Chris Stubbs in the pit lane, plus Jack Perkins and we also have Brad Hodge and Emma Freedman.” Martin explained that although he’s had an impressive cricket career, Hodge is a massive Supercars fan. “What is important for us is that we tell the human story of racing.”
On Fox Sports, Mark Skaife and Jess Yates will be giving viewers exclusive insight and analysis.
Weather
The Bureau of Meteorology is saying there will be just a 20% chance of rain during the race. But, since 1987, there have been just two races that have not had to have the safety car deployed – 1989 and 1991. The most number of times the safety car has been deployed in a race is 13 in 2000.
Bathurst schedule:
Friday before qualifying at 4:35pm AEDT.
Saturday features another couple of practice sessions before the top 10 shootout at 5:05pm AEDT.
Sunday the race will get underway at the latest time ever of 12:15pm AEDT.
