The 2025 Logie Awards: Which network came out on top?

Lynne McGranger

While other broadcasters brought their best frocks and brightest stars, one network clearly took the spotlight.

To borrow the immortal words of a certain Summer Bay resident, one Alfred James Stewart, if there was ever a case of ‘about bloody time’, then this was it: Lynne McGranger has taken out the 2025 TV WEEK Gold Logie.

The long suffering time Home and Away star also picked up the Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television. McGranger has played Irene Roberts on the soapie since 1993.

This is the first time she’s won for her portrayal.

While, there were gold statues, teary speeches, and a red carpet packed tighter than a Bondi beach on New Year’s Day, the real winner of last night’s TV WEEK Logie Awards wasn’t just McGranger or a particular program. It was a network. And that network was the ABC.

While other broadcasters brought their best frocks and brightest stars, it was the ABC that not-so-quietly cleaned up across the board.
