Taboola appoints new APAC regional lead as platform expansion continues

In the newly-created leadership role, Pant will lead the growth and alignment of Taboola’s publisher partnerships across Asia Pacific.

Taboola has announced the appointment of a new regional leader and reported continued growth across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, citing increased publisher partnerships and the rollout of its latest performance advertising platform.

The company, known for its native advertising and content discovery tools, recently launched Realize, a platform designed to deliver performance outcomes at scale beyond search and social.

Realize is positioned as an expansion of Taboola’s existing capabilities, incorporating the company’s proprietary data, performance AI, and access to a broader mix of inventory and creative formats.

Across APAC, Taboola reports growth in both advertiser diversification and publisher adoption.

To support continued growth in the region, Taboola has created a new leadership role, appointing Shivani Pant as Regional Publisher Director, APAC. Based in Sydney, Pant will oversee publisher partnerships across the region, which the company describes as diverse and strategically important to its global operations.

In the newly created leadership role, Pant will lead the growth and alignment of Taboola’s publisher partnerships across Asia Pacific, a diverse and fast-growing region that plays a pivotal role in the company’s global expansion strategy.

Pant has nearly 15 years’ experience in digital media, including eight years at Taboola. She previously held the position of ANZ Director, Publisher Partnerships, and has worked across multiple APAC markets including Japan, Thailand, China, and India.

She was also named a finalist in B&T’s 2025 Women Leading Tech Awards, which recognises leadership in the technology sector.

Her appointment is effective immediately.
