Special Broadcasting Service – SBS is bringing back its flagship current affairs line-up, with Insight and Dateline returning.
The two programs will once again anchor the broadcaster’s prime-time factual slate, tackling issues ranging from immigration and housing to gender-affirming healthcare and global political unrest.
Insight airs Tuesdays from 3 March at 8:30pm AEDT, followed by Dateline at 9:30pm AEDT on SBS and SBS On Demand.
SBS Director of News and Current Affairs Mandi Wicks said the programs play a critical role in helping audiences navigate complex topics.
“SBS’ current affairs programs help us make sense of the world. Insight respectfully discusses and debates sensitive issues with empathy and honesty, and Dateline, Australia’s longest-running international current affairs program, boldly investigates the most complex or extraordinary global stories of our time.”
