Re levels up with Kiranpreet Kaur Dhillon as group strategy director

Dhillon will lead Re’s strategy offering across a portfolio that includes Commonwealth Bank, Woolworths and Youi.

Re, M&C Saatchi Group’s brand-led experience design business baby has appointed industry strategist and Gruen panel regular Kiranpreet Kaur Dhillon as its new Group Strategy Director.

The announcement comes as clients increasingly seek deeper, more strategically informed experience design in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

In her new role, Dhillon will lead Re’s strategy offering across a portfolio that includes Commonwealth Bank, Woolworths and Youi, as well as newer client wins BaptistCare, Alternaleaf and Downer Group.

Dhillon joins from AKQA and brings more than 15 years’ experience across the APAC region, having worked with major brands including Citibank, Mastercard, Bupa and Cancer Council. She has been recognised for both agency leadership and strategic excellence throughout her career.

Her appointment follows the recent news that Simon Wassef will join M&C Saatchi Group as Group Chief Strategy Officer, further strengthening the group’s connected strategic capabilities.

Re Managing Director Ben Harrison said: “Kiran’s a unicorn. Her experience bridging brand, experience, and digital transformation makes her a perfect partner to our clients seeking meaningful connections with their customers, employees and investors. As a champion of diversity, she’s also a perfect alignment with our mission to make progress by design.”

Reflecting on her new role, Dhillon said Re’s position at the intersection of brand and experience was a key drawcard.

“Re sits at a beautiful convergence of brand and experience, a space that I am a complete nerd about, and one that I feel is a perfect springboard for innovation and growth at a time when it’s becoming increasingly difficult to connect deeper with customers,” she said.

“I’m thrilled to join Re and the wider M&C Saatchi Group to lead the team in unlocking new growth opportunities for our clients and helping to further define Re’s market-leading offer.”

A seasoned veteran

Dhillon’s appointment marks another step in Re’s effort to support clients as they navigate brand transformation, digital maturity and evolving customer expectations.

Her background brings together experience across financial services, health, technology and purpose-driven organisations, positioning her to guide Re’s next phase of strategic leadership.
