R/GA has made three senior hires in Australia as part of its post-independence growth strategy.
Ben Martin joins as Group Technology Director, Abigail Kwek as Group Strategy Director, and Kerry Peterson as Group Director, Production.
The appointments follow the creative innovation company’s move to private ownership with Truelink Capital and form part of its plan to scale the business through talent expansion, product development, partnerships, and acquisitions.
Martin was most recently at Deloitte Digital, leading frontend development for brands including QBR, Travel Money Oz, Orica, Bunnings, and NSW DPI. His career also spans digital leadership roles at Tesco UK and Coles Australia.
Kwek, a strategist with more than a decade of experience across APAC, has worked with brands including Telstra, Coles, Nissan, Mastercard, Grab, and Spotify. She previously held leadership roles at TBWA, 72andSunny, and Hogarth.
Peterson was most recently at Merkle, leading delivery within its digital experience practice. With 15 years of experience, she specialises in production leadership, governance, and complex program delivery.
Victoria Curro, Managing Director, R/GA Australia, said: “We’re in a transformative moment, for our industry, for R/GA, and for our clients. Ben, Abigail, and Kerry bring a powerful mix of capability, craft and commercial acumen that will help us shape more innovative, connected, and human outcomes.
“Each of them represents the kind of talent we’re investing in for the future: deeply experienced, multidisciplinary, and built for what’s next.
”These appointments come as R/GA continues to evolve its offering for the intelligence age – delivering work that sits at the intersection of design, technology, and culture,” Curro added.
