Bradbury oversaw TBWA AUNZ, +61, TBWA Media Arts Lab, Eleven, Fleishman Hillard, Fabric, Bolt, and TBWA Sustain.

Paul Bradbury has exited from his role as President and Regional CEO, TBWA, Australia & New Zealand, after almost two decades.

Bradbury, who joined the agency in 2006, oversaw TBWA Australia and New Zealand group, including TBWA Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, +61, TBWA Media Arts Lab, Eleven, Fleishman Hillard, Fabric, Bolt, and TBWA Sustain.

Mediaweek has reached out to Omnicom and TBWA for comment.

Bradbury’s departure follows the appointment of Nick Garrett as CEO of Omnicom under its new structure Omnicom Oceania, which unites Omnicom Media Group and Omnicom Advertising Group.

As CEO, Garrett will work alongside brand agency leaders to deliver integrated solutions and a more seamless experience for Omnicom’s clients and their customers.

Garrett said: “My time in the consulting world showed me just how big the opportunity is to add creative problem solving and brand thinking further upstream into business strategy, and how agencies can positively influence more of the customer eco-system beyond marketing and comms.

“There is a huge amount of white space to grow into, and I am absolutely thrilled to be returning to the Omnicom family to continue to drive growth at an accelerated pace.”

The launch of Omnicom Oceania responds to the changing media landscape and aims to deliver innovative solutions for clients as it has with models such as +61 for Telstra and Smith Street for Coles.

Changing of the guard

Bradbury’s departure following a long tenure follows several agency leaders exiting their roles after lengthy stints.

Among them include Ogilvy Network’s Sally Kissane after 30 years, Clemenger Group’s Les Timar after almost 30 years and chairman Robert Morgan after 46 years

Andrew Little joins the list of long tenured leaders following his exit from DDB Group AUNZ after 25 years, as well as AKQA’s Brian Vella who stepped down after 24 years as APAC CEO.
