Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings for w/c September 13: The Bachelor Finale takes the cake

TEN’s reality dating show The Bachelor wrapped up last week with what many viewers claim as a surprise ending, with Sam choosing single mother Snezana. The show’s official hashtag #TheBachelorAU was the #1 trend during the telecast with the NSW premiere stealing Sam’s thunder on the social media platform.

Nine’s breakfast show Today made its second appearance in the top five of the Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings for non-sport in a week where its rival Sunrise was on its much-publicised 5 Cities in Five Days tour.

In sports, Jarryd Hayne’s NFL debut as part of the 49ers was the talk of the town with over 2.7m tweet impressions.
