Pauline Hanson apologises for One Nation cartoon mocking vaginal prolapse

Pauline Hanson has apologised for a One Nation cartoon clip mocking senator Jacqui Lambie's vaginal prolapse; despite telling her the previous day to "get over it".
In the apology, Hanson said she spoke with the cartoon's creator after intense backlash from other politicians and the public, and said that it would be changed.
In August, Senator Lambie, an army veteran, delivered an emotional speech defending veterans' rights to subsidised healthcare. In that context, she revealed she had previously dealt with vaginal and bladder prolapse, which required surgery and lengthy leave.

Multiple politicians, including Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, openly slammed the post.
The One Nation leader has now apologised for the video, admitting she had to be alerted to its content after it was made public, and that it was not "tastefully" executed.

"The video went up without my actually seeing it, and I was not aware of the content of the video," she told News24 on Tuesday.
"I respect people's views and opinions out there, and it wasn't as tastefully done as it could've been and I do apologise for that."
Hanson's apology is in stark contrast to her initial response to criticism, which was to insist the video is “satirical”.
Hanson had said it helped raise awareness of women's health issues and that Senator Lambie should not take it "to heart".
The Tasmanian senator has slammed the One Nation video series as spiteful, and said that real leaders "don't stir up hatred".
