• The appointment follows new business growth for the independent media agency

Match & Wood has appointed former CHEP Network national head of investment, Daniel Bradley, to the newly created role of general manager of its Melbourne office.

The appointment follows new business growth for the independent media agency.

With 15 years of experience, Bradley has worked across leading media agencies in New Zealand, Germany and Australia, including PHD, UM and Carat.

The general manager joins from CHEP where he rose to lead the investment teams and product across Sydney and Melbourne and has worked with clients including Coles, Target, Samsung, Australia Post, Unilever and Virgin Airlines.

In the newly created role he will be responsible for client management, commercial and operational leadership of the Melbourne office.

Lyndelle O’Keefe, CEO at Match & Wood said: “Dan joins Match & Wood at a time when we continue to attract leading brands wanting to tap into the expertise and insights that our team offers.

“We know what a great operator he is and to have someone of his calibre and experience join the agency at this time will only help drive our success,” O’Keefe added.

Bradley’s appointment follows strong new business growth for Match & Wood, which has offices in Melbourne and Perth.

In February, it was appointed by Chobani Australia for the Chobani and Gippsland Dairy brands, managing media strategy, planning and buying across all channels.

In 2021 staff numbers doubled to service its expanding client roster including Curtin University, Speedo, HIF Australia, COSBOA, Pentanet, Private Healthcare Australia, Zeller and Synergy.

Bradley, who started in the role this week, added: “In a crowded market of independent media agencies Match & Wood have carved out a reputation for being smart, agile, with a deep understanding of human behaviours, customer journeys and access to market-leading technologies.

“They have built an incredible team and I’m looking forward to working with them all to continue their upward trajectory,” Bradley added.
