Married At First Sight has reportedly appointed a new ‘relationships expert’ to join the show for the 2027 season.

Beloved Mel Schilling lost her long battle with cancer in March this year, at the age of 54.

The Daily Mail now exclusively reports that a new coach will join John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla on the experts panel.

High-profile identity Brigitte Zonta, aka Dr Lurve, has reportedly signed for the show’s 14th season, which is filming now in Sydney and will air on Nine in 2027.

A source reportedly told the Daily Mail, “No one can replace Mel, and that is not what they are asking Dr Lurve to do.

“She has her own voice, her own energy and her own way of connecting with people.”

An online bio for the South Australia-based Zonta describes her as “Australia’s leading love & relationship coach”, and states she works as a “modern-day cupid for those discovering self-love, singles ready to find love, and couples ready to make love last forever.”
