It’s time to put on the footy franks and crack open the Tia Maria, Fountain Lakes’ foxy morons are back with the Kath & Kim 20th anniversary, exclusive to Channel 7 and 7plus later this year.
Taking place across two “yuge” nights, the effluent mum and daughter duo will be joined by hunk-o-spunk and purveyor of fine meats Kel Knight, pants man Brett Dean Craig and the second best friend in Melbourne, Sharon Strzelecki.
Executive producer Rick McKenna said: “It’s fascinating and delightful to see audiences around the world still loving Kath & Kim after 20 years. It was great fun getting the team back together, plenty of laughs all around, which we look forward to sharing very soon.”
Brought to Netflix in 2019, Kath & Kim has enjoyed a resurgence in the “good rooms” of younger generations of Australians and a renaissance among those who viewed the show when it premiered weekly on ABC and then later on Channel 7.
The two-part celebration sees the real housewives of Fountain Lakes bring Australia a slice of their lives today, with never-before-seen moments and appearances from some familiar faces and very special guests.
