HBO has released the official trailer and key art for Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, a new original limited sketch comedy series led by Larry David.
The seven-episode series will debut Saturday, 27 June, on HBO Max, with new episodes released weekly ahead of the season finale on 8 August.
The series centres on a comedic premise tied to America’s 250th anniversary: President Barack Obama and Mrs. Obama wanted to honour America’s 250th anniversary, and celebrate its unique history on this special occasion… but then Larry David called.
HBO said the series will feature select Curb Your Enthusiasm actors, alongside a group of guest stars.
Who is behind Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness?

The series is also executive produced by Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Ethan Lewis and Vinnie Malhotra for Higher Ground.
The project marks David’s latest HBO series following Curb Your Enthusiasm, which became one of the network’s defining comedy titles across its run.
Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness debuts Saturday, 27 June, only on HBO Max.
