The Jury will be a ten-week series, premiering on Sunday 4 February

Sky News Australia’s new weekly show The Jury is set to be produced at Gravity Media’s Production Centre in Sydney, as confirmed by Australian News Channel (operator of Sky News Australia) and Gravity Media Australia.

The Jury, hosted by Sky News Australia presenter Danica De Giorgio, will be a ten-week series premiering on Sunday 4 February at 8.00pm AEDT.

In front of a studio audience, the format will see De Giorgio moderate a discussion between guest debaters on the biggest topics of the week. After each debater pleads their case, a 12-person jury votes for who they believe has won the argument.

Gravity Media’s Production Centre in Sydney is a full-service broadcast and television and film production centre, made up of two large studios and in-house production services and facilities.

Mark Calvert, Australian News Channel, head of programs, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to work with the professionals at Gravity Media. Their creativity and commitment have made a real difference to this new format. We can’t wait to share the program with our viewers.”

Mike Purcell, head of production, Gravity Media Australia, said: “We are delighted to be working with Mark Calvert and the team from Australian News Channel on the production of this new program. We appreciate their decision to select Gravity Media Australia to work with them in delivering the complete studio television production of The Jury.”

The partnership between Australian News Channel and Gravity Media Australia for The Jury’s production works to show Gravity Media’s increasing presence in broadcast technology and facilities provision for major television production companies.

Earlier in the year, Gravity Media Australia confirmed and outlined the broadcast technology and television production coverage of Events South Australia’s 2024 Santos Tour Down Under across Australia and multiple international territories.
