Farmer Wants a Wife recap: Secret meetings, mistakes and shock walk-outs

‘I’ve really dug myself a massive hole.’

Monday night’s Farmer Wants A Wife Harvest Festival delivered drama in spades, with emotional admissions, surprise exits, and the arrival of brand-new contenders set to shake up existing connections.

In one of the evening’s biggest twists, host Natalie Gruzlewski stunned the farmers by introducing a fresh wave of potential partners, upping the stakes as each farmer prepared to choose five women to return to their property.

But the biggest shock came from Farmer Thomas, who admitted to a secret off-camera meet-up with Claire, triggering an emotional confrontation with Clarette.

Speaking candidly to Farmer Corey, Thomas revealed, “I’ve really dug myself a massive hole. I’ve realised how much I care for [Clarette], and it kind of hurts me that I’ve put her in this situation.”

The tension only heightened as the new arrivals made their presence felt. Among them, 27-year-old nurse Chloe made an instant impression on Corey, who was quickly taken with her. “I sort of get lost in her eyes,” he said in a piece to camera, “it got pretty deep pretty quickly.”

Meanwhile, Thomas was visibly nervous but intrigued by 32-year-old paramedic Tayla, admitting she gave him butterflies. But not everyone felt their connection growing stronger, Ellen, feeling emotionally mismatched with Thomas, decided to exit the process altogether.

“I think we had a really nice date, but I’m feeling like we’re not emotionally compatible,” Ellen explained. Thomas agreed, clearing the way for another suitor to return to the farm.

Farmer Corey found himself at the centre of an emotional confession when Keeley shared her growing feelings: “I feel like I’m starting to fall a little bit for you.” Corey reassured her, confirming their connection remains strong.

Elsewhere, Farmer Tom deepened his bond with 30-year-old police detective Mady, leading to a difficult but honest breakup with Emma. “I’m just not feeling it,” he admitted before parting ways.

As the evening drew to a close, Thomas made a final bid to repair things with Clarette, explaining that his meeting with Claire was purely for closure. “I want you to trust me again,” he pleaded. “I can really see a future with you.”

An emotional Clarette ultimately accepted his apology.

The farmers made their final selections:

  • Farmer Corey: Chloe, Keeley, Jadee, Chelsea, and Annie

  • Farmer Tom: Georgie, Eliza, Mady, Tijan, and Emily

  • Farmer Thomas: Clarette, Rachel, Laura, Jess, and Tayla

The journey back to the farms promises even more twists as the connections deepen, and competition intensifies.
