The Australian Radio Network (ARN) has confirmed that the Hayley and Max Breakfast show on Mix 102.3 will wrap up on Friday, December 12.
The news comes just days after the company announced it would also be axing its Brisbane breakfast show offering of Robin, Kip & Corey Oats, which airs on KIIS 97.3.
Despite industry rumours, the Brisbane show will not be replaced by a networked Kyle and Jackie O.
When asked about the decision to pull the pin on Adelaide’s Hayley and Max, an ARN spokesperson told Mediaweek the move “marks the beginning of a new era for ARN in Adelaide.”
They continued: “In 2026, the station will launch a new live and local breakfast show as part of a refreshed whole station strategy focused on bolder content and bigger moments that really set the station apart.”
ARN’s Chief Audiences and Content Officer Lauren Joyce said: “This next phase will deliver differentiated and bolder live content, bigger moments with a strong connection to Adelaide; a step-change in how we entertain and engage audiences.”
Further details will be shared at ARN’s Upfronts on Wednesday.
