The ABC will premiere a new two-part documentary, Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator, on Tuesday, 9 June at 8.30pm on ABC TV, with both episodes also available to stream on ABC iview.
According to the broadcaster, the series “brings together the full story of one of entertainment’s most disturbing double lives”, charting Harris’s rise from suburban Perth to prominence in the UK entertainment industry, while examining allegations of abuse spanning decades.
The documentary features survivors who have not previously spoken publicly.
“Harris died in 2023, aged 93, never expressing public remorse,” the ABC said.
“In the years since, the silence that once protected him has begun to lift. The series gives voice to those who were previously unable to, as they share their experience on their own terms.”
The broadcaster said the series also explores “how charisma, institutional loyalty, and cultural reverence allowed a predator to flourish”.

Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator is produced by Northern Pictures and Arrow Media for the ABC, with principal production funding from Screen Australia, the ABC and Prime Video UK.
The series is directed by Nick Sweeney, with Karina Holden and John Smithson serving as executive producers.
