News Corp announces the winners of its internal awards, which are held annually

Michael Miller, executive chairman News Corp Australasia, comments on the winners:

Tonight at the 2017 annual News Awards, we celebrated great stories told by great storytellers – stories that made a difference, and stories that continue to make me extremely proud to work for News Corp.

The diversity of stories and storytellers recognised as winners and as finalists is inspiring and humbling.

I’d like to congratulate all of our 2017 News Awards recipients – the producers, the journalists, the editors, the cartoonists, photographers and the authors, who have captured the imagination and the emotion of their audience. This year, you have led the way.

Thank you for reminding us that the News Corp family is Australia’s leading storytellers.
