Total TV Ratings, April 29

Nine’s Getaway grew its audience by 4% in the overnights, with a Total TV audience of 443,000 tuning in to watch the episode.

The biggest jump in commercial primetime viewing goes to 10’s CSI: Vegas, where the Total TV audience grew by 28% to reach 201,000 viewers. 

Overnight TV Ratings, May 6 

Seven enjoyed a Saturday night win in both the network and primary channel shares with 24.7% and 31.7%, respectively. ABC News won the multichannels with 8.1%.

Saturday night was one of those rare events where Australia’s television broadcasters find themselves on equal footing content-wise. The coronation of King Charles III dominated global television, and in Australia was broadcast on all networks except SBS.

The metro overnight ratings of each channel’s coronation coverage were:

The top non-news program on SBS was Walking Wartime England with 48,000.

On Fox League, newcomers the Dolphins shockingly defeated the Sharks 36-16 in front of 320,000, while the Rabbitohs claimed victory against the Storm in front of 284,000.

Fox Footy’s top game was the Gold Coast Suns v Melbourne, which saw Melbourne claim victory by 5 points in front of 170,000. 

Sky News also made the top 20 due to King Charles III’s Coronation. 151,000 watched the ceremony.
