ABC has claimed the top three spots on total TV with its Australia Votes: Election Night coverage. The top program reached 1,867,000 people and increased by 9%.

Nine’s election coverage rose 8% to reach 537,000 people, while Seven’s coverage increased by 5% to reach 454,000 people.

ABC News: Australia Votes experienced the highest lift on overnight with 16% to reach 243,000 people.

Seven has won the night with a network share of 32% and a primary share of 19.2%. 7Mate took out the multichannel win with 5.3%, while Nine had a network share of 25.4%.

On Seven, Saturday Night AFL clocked 279,000 views with 136,000 coming from Melbourne. The coverage ranked in the top five in all key demographics as Gold Coast Suns defeated Hawthorn in Darwin, 18.13 (121) to 7.12 (54).

Nine’s top non-news program was Getaway with 274,000 viewers, followed by the film Jurassic World starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Vincent D’Onofrio, pulling in 248,000 people.

Father Brown on ABC was the most-watched program of the night, bringing in 403,000 people, followed by Call The Midwife with 318,000 views.

10 aired the Izuzu Ute A-League grand final between Western United and Melbourne City reaching an audience of 119,000 as Western United claimed their first-ever championship with a 2-0 win.

The top non-news program on SBS was The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys with 159,000 views.

Fox League’s Live NRL coverage of Rabbitohs V West Tigers pulled in an audience of 231,000 as the Rabbitohs thrashed the Tigers 44-18.

Fox Leagues NRL Super Saturday reached 221,000 people, while Fox Footy’s AFL coverage of Melbourne v Fremantle pulled in an audience of 216,000 as Fremantle broke Melbourne’s 17-match winning streak to win 14.10 (94) to 7.14 (56).
