A Current Affair dipped just below 700,000 where it ranked third-most-watched Thursday program on 689,000.

Who Wants to be a Millionaire was back in primetime again with a 7.30pm episode on 351,000. The combined format metro audience was 814,000 with 463,000 watching the Hot Seat at 5.30pm. The first sporting celebrities answering Eddie’s questions were Gary Ablett Jr and Taylor Harris.

An episode of Emergency followed on 189,000.

Seven
Home and Away’s Thursday episodes had an average of 500,000 watching

The 2018 movie The Equalizer 2 screened in some markers to 119,000.

The Front Bar went out live on Seven in AFL markets and on 7plus. If you miss it live on 7plus though in NSW, you had to wait until 11.30pm last night to watch. The live Seven crowd was a healthy 339,000. Special guest was Heath Shaw.

The Project featured Peter, Hugh, Lisa and Kate at the desk with Delta Goodrem showcasing some new music. The second half of the show again cleared the 400,000 hurdle with 431,000 watching.

MasterChef Australia featuring a four-way immunity cook with Pete, Scott, Jess and Depinder after a pin. The Tandoori Chicken dish from Depinder was enough to get her immunity. But as this week showed, for the pin the work its magic you have to play it. The Thursday episode was #1 non-news, it won its timeslot all people and in key demos.

Back-to-back Law & Order: SVU started on 252,000 and then dipped to 172,000 for the repeat.

The Opposition Reply to the Federal Budget set the pace for the night with 337,000 after the 7pm news.

7.30 then followed at 8.00 on the one night of the year its name is no guide to when it screens. The episode was on 274,000.

A Q+A Budget Special from Canberra had an audience of 232,000.

The Thursday line-up returned the primary channel its lowest Thursday share of the year.

A repeat of World’s Greatest Bridges had an audience of 235,000 at 7.30pm.

A Michael Mosley: Trust Me I’m a Doctor repeat followed with 187,000.

The Handmaid’s Tale is topping the BVOD chart for SBS with one episode over 200,000 and a new episode screened last night with 124,000.

SBS Viceland had one of its best nights of the year thanks to the unlikely combo of Jimmy Carr and the Giro d’Italia bike race.
